"We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures." -Thornton Wilder

A lot of bad things happen in the world everyday, and none of those bad things are difficult to see or hear. The media is often criticized for showing the bad, rather than good, and making things out to be much worse than they are. The truth is, if we never watched or read or heard the news, most of us would still know more bad than good. When someone asks us how we are, we're much more likely to think of our discomforts rather than what is making us happy.
Today is a day to think about what makes us happy. No bad news. No tears. Just laughing and loving and celebrating the good stuff.
When you wake up tomorrow, after sleeping off the tryptophan, remember what you were happy about today, and don't hesitate to be happy about it again. After all, it is love that makes the world go 'round. And the more happiness and love, the better.

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." -J.F.K.
