necessary quotes

"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers."

"Holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned."

Comments:
Hey do you know where these quotes originally come from? They sound very Biblical in nature - in fact Jesus even said that when we become followers of the truth our lives will likely get harder, not easier.

The first quote is from M. Scott Peck, and the second is from Buddha.
